Sneak peek….Ebele

This beautiful senior girl is the oldest daughter of one of my oldest and dearest friends. They moved out of state several years ago, and live near Seattle now, but I was lucky enough to take Ebele’s senior photos when they were in MN visiting family. I cannot believe how she has changed in the 2 years since I have seen her! She is one of the neatest, smartest, most responsible and lovely senior girls I’ve met. She was one of my favorite kids since she was little, and she has grown into such a lovely young woman! I’ll have the rest of your gallery up as soon as possible. :)

sneak peek…Jayne

Jayne was just lovely to photography…she is a dancer and it is so evident in the way she carries herself. Its rare for me to see such poise and elegance in someone just entering their senior year. I know I was nothing like that! :) She is obviously beautiful, but it is more than skin deep…really enjoyed meeting you! I will have the rest of your gallery completed by the end of the week!

teeny tiniest of sneak peeks…

I have four other sessions to be proofing but had to put up a teensy tiny sneak peek from my morning session today… Remember my “share the love” contest where Mikala won? Well, finally got to meet her today and she is the sweetest, nicest girl, and absolutely gorgeous inside and out! We had such fun trooping around uptown, and I had to give her a little peek! :)

More soon!

some recent favorites…

Summer is flying by, and now that the 4th of July is over, it is finally warming up around here. I have been remiss (again, no surprise) in posting promised sneak peeks, so I will just pull out a few of my favorites from the past couple weeks to share. :)

A quick note, summer and fall appointments are filling up fast, only a few are left. If you are counting on a session, or  you have a high school senior who you want me to photograph before the fall—call or email NOW to get your session booked.

Now, the photos: enjoy!

Summer is finally here…

My kids and I spent the last two afternoons at Cascade Bay water-park in Eagan, thanks to an awesome season pass christmas gift from my brother Mark & my SIL Karla. Thanks guys! Some photos from my waterproof camera to show what fun we all had.

My dear daughter, above, showing off her famous ability to cross her eyes on command. I’m so proud. ;)

And, because I get *so many* emails from around the globe after I post an underwater photo, below is a link to the very affordable and fun point and shoot olympus that I use underwater! :) No, I don’t have an underwater housing for any of my pro cameras, just this fun little olympus, waterproof to 33ft, and lots of fun for boating or swimming! :)

Happy Summer!!

One of my favorite families…

I love repeat clients, getting to see how their children grow and change over the years. It is just another part of my job that I love! This beautiful, sweet little girl is one of my favorites too… when I first met her I think she was under six months old, now she is such a vibrant, busy and fun little girl! There is even a photo of her family with her big sisters & big brother in the header above, from last year! They are just a lovely family, both in appearance and in person.  Here is a sneak peek of her with Mom & Dad… I’ll have your gallery up soon!

thanks

Whew…I’m so behind I can’t catch up!~

I have a bunch of sessions to post “sneak peeks” from, but haven’t had the time. I know many clients are waiting for their orders and their galleries and I really appreciate everyone being so patient.

It has been a perfect storm of circumstances that has pushed me so far back~lots of sessions, being out of town for the DFL State Convention for three days, switching to wireless internet (which for some reason caused me to be unable to connect to my lab to submit orders!), and then switching labs due to that but having to remake lots of orders because my computer monitor was calibrated to my old lab… so, I’m working hard to catch up! :)

I had a great time at the Obama rally at the Xcel, and will post some photos of that on my facebook for anyone who does facebook, also have some photos on there from my weekend down at the DFL state convention in Rochester. Look me up if you are “on facebook” and add me as a friend!

My children are {finally!} done with school tomorrow for the summer, so I look forward to seeing them more too! :) Minneapolis Public Schools get out so late!

Anyway, here are a few photos, lots more to come soon I hope….

Two such fun families… just the nicest kids in each, and such great parents. I’m so lucky to have such great people to work with! :)

thanks for looking!

Sneak peek of four adorable kids…

I’m going to try to get back to posting some sneak peeks as I edit sessions. I love to share my adorable clients with my readers, and I think its fun for the parents to have a little slice to view as they wait for their gallery!

I photographed these four delightful siblings recently, and really had such a fun time meeting them. A truly lovely family, and I’m so glad I got to work with them!

Here are a couple of shots from our session…

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for my family, my friends, and all my wonderful clients who let me catch a slice of their life in photos. Thank you all.
