If you have tried the local chain studios and been disappointed like so many parents, you know that all that stress for you and your child still doesn't result in great images. No matter how much of a "bargain" it may seem, a teenager with a camera on a tripod at a chain isn't going to get good images of your child.
I knew there had to be a better way, which is why I took my love of children, and my ease and comfort around kids, and my passion for photography, and started Mary Hanson Photography many years ago. Your baby or child can be photographed in your home, an environment in which they are already comfortable, and you will get beautiful, natural photographs, that really showcase who your child is. Your child will be happy, you will be relaxed, and in fact, you will probably be surprised how much fun we will have! Mary also has a newly completed beautiful natural light studio in South Minneapolis which is available for newborn sessions, older children, high school seniors, headshots, mini-session days and more.
